What I’m AFTR
Being active is part of who I am.
From being very active as a child, I’ve grown up in a way where it is a part of me.
Getting called nicknames like “Energiser Bunny” and my favourite… “Taz” (crazy guy from Loony Tunes) has pushed me to grow in ways I can’t explain.
How? But it motivated me to be the most active, energised and well-rounded human/athlete.
Mindset
I was never the best but never the worst. Fighting mental challenges, it's definitely where people fall, finding the gap where you are able to realise that being average is okay if you win, that’s your best… that was my best.
Motivation
I’m still yet to find my stride in a sport.
I cycle, run, gym, swim, paddle, coach and hybrid.
Yet I find joy not in results but in the relationships that I have built.
My Why
I will willingly put in 30 hours of exercise a week just because I am able to. The art and privilege it is to move is underrated. Freedom of movement is my why, it is my motivation and that will keep my mind in a free AFTR it state.
