What I’m AFTR
I started martial arts when I was very young.
Barely big enough to tie my own belt. What began as simple Taekwondo classes became the foundation of who I am today.
Over the years, I’ve achieved things, standing on podiums, representing my country and felt rewarded for my hard work. BUT the truth is, every time I reach something new, I realize there’s still another mountain waiting to be climbed.
That’s what I’m AFTR → MORE ⬆
There is always more to learn, more to become and more to give.
Through highs and lows, one thing will always remain constant, my FAITH. I give all glory to Jesus for talents and opportunities He has given me. Without Him nothing is possible. I believe my purpose goes beyond sport, medals and titles. I use sport showing faith, discipline and heart makes all your dreams possible.
Martial Arts taught me that growth isn’t just physical but spiritual and emotional too. It’s about how to lose with grace and win with humility. Strength isn’t how hard you can kick or punch, but how you carry yourself when things don’t go your way. It’s about respect.
Now as I continue to chase new goals and prepare what’s next, my motivation comes from more than just success. I want to grow in love, love for what I do, and love for the journey. I want to expand my capacity, not only as an athlete but as someone who can inspire, uplift, and lead by example.
Nothing truly ever ends. There is always another round, another moment to rise higher, another step. Not always easy but always worth it.
Every early morning, every session, every setback. It’s all part of a bigger story that God is writing. I always hold on to His promise. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. So, I keep going, keep growing, keep believing.
No matter how far I’ve come, it’s never over. The best is still ahead. That’s what I’m AFTR. That’s what keeps me fighting, dreaming and becoming everything God created me to be.
